Description

The RightNow Pre-Conference will help you to shape the leadership vision in your church. Consumerism has hijacked the way we lead in our culture and if the church isn’t careful we can become products of our culture which creates a me-centered form of leadership. The RightNow Pre-Conference will help you combat this with a Biblical view of leadership that focuses on mobilizing your people to action

RightNow offers a concise plan to give your leaders Biblical vision, to mobilize the small groups in your church to have a Christ like impact on the world because the mission of the church matters. Let’s not let culture, consumerism, or anything else hijack the mission of the church.

Key Questions
• How can you mobilize your people to live on mission?
• What role has consumerism played in your church and how can you free your leaders and your people from its bondage?
• How can you connect your people to the greatest needs of the world in a tangible way?
• How can you transform your small groups to have a missional focus while still nurturing its members?
• How has your view and teaching of the Gospel shaped your peoples daily lives?

Topics

Leading with Peace with Francis Chan: All too often our lives are full of lies. Let’s take some time to come clean so that we can actually be used. Supernatural ministry comes when Spirit-filled leaders have confessed their sins and minister out of the joy of forgiveness.

Redefining Church with Francis Chan: The term “church” is typically used to describe something completely different from what the scriptures call “church”. We’ll be talking about the steps we can take to restore the church to what God intended.

Leading with Your Right-Brain with Mark Batterson: There are ways of doing church that no one has thought of yet. But at some point most us stop leading out of imagination and start leading out of memory. We stop creating the future and start repeating the past. This session will help unleash your creative potential.

God Ideas with Mark Batterson: Good ideas are good, but God idea can change the course of history. One God idea is worth more than a thousand good ideas. This session will help you know how to get them and how to act on them.

The Gospel Assumed with Matt Chandler: Have we become a culture of believers where the gospel is being assumed. Do our people understand the depth and truth of the gospel and how is it being played out in their lives? If we are rallying an idea without a transformed heart, then we will lose the mission of the gospel.

The Call to Mission with Matt Chandler: Yes we need to understand theology. Yes we need to devour the word of God. Yes we need to focus on spiritual growth. But all of these things are voided when our faith becomes for ourselves. God has given us a mission and the call is clear.
