Post-Launch Track

"When I hear ministry leaders talk about multiplication I know I should get excited. Candidly, it can be discouraging. I'm still trying to figure out how to have enough volunteers for nursery this weekend. What I need is help figuring out how to grow my church in a healthy way so that there is something to multiply."

Sound familiar? In order to have greater impact you have to build a solid base and a strong foundation. If you are running 50, 500, or 5000 this track will give you practical handles on how to build a solid foundation for launching a movement of global impact.

Session Descriptions:

1.  Growing Your Church Out of the Culture (John Burke)

Understanding culture and connecting with disconnected people is what church planting is all about. This session will focus on understanding those disconnected from the church, creating a culture to reach the disconnected, and how to speak to the disconnected so that the broader culture becomes the church.

2.  Healthy Leader... Healthy Church (Shawn Lovejoy)

One of the most neglected areas in a church plant is the leader. Many church plants that crash and burn do so because leadership mistakes or issues. The good new is leaders can be developed and we all can become better and healthier leaders. This session will focus on some of the essential areas of self leadership and some of the pitfalls when it comes to leaders and church planting.

3.  Making Vision Stick (Darrin Patrick)

It one thing to have a vision, but it is another thing to build vision stakeholders. This session will focus on how to build the kind of stakeholder that will charge hell with a water gun when it comes to vision.

4.  Losing our Religion... finding the Jesus Way (David Putman)

Go make disciples is still the central imperative of the church. Making disciples often involves losing our religion and ultimately finding the Jesus way. This session will focus on what is a disciple, how people become disciples, and what a disciple looks like.

5.  Avoiding Church Planter's Bankruptcy (Steve Andrews)

Church planter's bankruptcy is a desperate place to land. Jesus told his disciples "You have not because you ask not". As church planters, we must take responsibility for being the chief resource raiser. Learning how to inspire others to give financially to Jesus' cause is key to kingdom impact. This session will focus on how multiplying resources needs to be a part of all of our skill sets and heart.

6.  From the weekend to the world. (Matt Chandler)

Jesus didn't just care about worship attendance. He cared about the world. He came into the world and now he sends us into the world. Every church should be a world mission center. This session will focus on how the local church can leverage its mission for world impact, not just weekend impact.

7. Multiplying Leaders (Larry Osborne)

Regardless if you are talking about multiplying churches, venues, sites, or groups it all boils down to multiplying leaders. Leaders that are having greater impact understand this and are committed to multiply leaders as their primarily strategy for multiplying Kingdom influence. This session will focus on priority and process of multiplying Kingdom leaders.
