Description:  This interactive preconference will enhance your ability to grow your ministry by unleashing the power of partnerships between pastors and marketplace leaders.  Many successful business and professional leaders reach midlife and desire for their second half to be significant – they are in Halftime. Many experience a difficult time finding a place to use their experience and leadership skills. Lloyd (business owner) and Bill (pastor) bring personal experience from both sides of this partnership, and a decade of helping churches tap into the talent and passion of this pool of seasoned volunteer leaders.

In this session you will formulate concrete strategies to increase your impact by systematically partnering with high capacity men and women. Real needs that previously went unmet—as a result of payroll and budget limitations— can soon be within reach.

  • How do pastors go about identifying Halftimers in their church?
  • What are the best practices of sustainable partnerships between pastors and marketplace leaders who are in Halftime?
  • What are the strategic ways for effectively involving marketplace leaders in church ministry?
  • How can you off-load the work of finding these Halftimers and creating best-fit serving opportunities for them – without loosing control of the vision of the church?
