For decades we have been asking “How can we be the best church in the community?” In other words, how do we provide the things that will help the church to grow? Do we provide the best worship, best kids stuff, and the list goes on. Most of our church growth resources over the last 20-25 years have been about becoming the best church in the community. There is a different question being asked today, “How can we be the best church for the community?” That question has an entirely different set of answers. There is a God sized wave happening around the world for churches to re-engage their communities and find ways to be the best church for the community.
